For more than a decade, BioEnve Hormonal Health & Wellness by Stefanie McCain, MD has proudly served women and men from our location in Early, Texas. Over the years, our reputation has been built patient by patient—through trusted care, personal attention, and a longstanding commitment to helping people feel like themselves again.

Founded by Stefanie McCain, MD, and Stacy Hammond, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, BioEnve has become one of the most established names in hormone optimization in Brown County and neighboring communities. Patients continue to choose and recommend BioEnve because they know they will be heard, treated as individuals, and cared for by a team that takes their health seriously.

Our medical team includes Platinum-certified Biote providers with advanced experience in bioidentical hormone therapy for women and men. That expertise is supported by decades of combined medical knowledge in gynecology, internal medicine, cardiovascular health, sexual wellness, weight management, and whole-body care.

Stefanie McCain, MD, FACOG

Stefanie McCain, MD, FACGOG

Founder, Owner & Board-Certified Gynecologist

Dr. Stefanie McCain is a board-certified gynecologist with more than 26 years of experience, including 20 years of practice in Abilene. She opened her Abilene practice in 1997 after serving 12 years as an obstetrician and gynecologist in the United States Air Force, ultimately retiring as a Major from Dyess Air Force Base. After delivering babies for 26 years, Dr. McCain retired from obstetrics in 2015 to focus on gynecology and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery using the da Vinci robotic platform.

Dr. McCain was the first board-certified gynecologist to perform a robotic-assisted hysterectomy in Abilene and has performed more robotic gynecologic procedures than any other provider in the area.

She is passionate about providing bioidentical hormone optimization for both women and men, helping patients age healthier and live happier. Dr. McCain is a Platinum Legacy Provider for Biote hormone pellet therapy.

Dr. McCain is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Texas Medical Association, and the Taylor-Jones-Haskell County Medical Society.

Kaitlyn Patrick is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with more than 10 years of healthcare experience. Her extensive clinical background in labor and delivery and women’s health has given her a strong understanding of complex health concerns, hormonal changes, and the importance of attentive, individualized care throughout every stage of life.

At BioEnve, Kaitlyn plays a central role in day-to-day patient care for both women and men. Her areas of focus include hormone optimization, gynecology, medical weight management, and wellness. She approaches each patient with careful attention to symptoms, medical history, laboratory findings, and personal goals—developing thoughtful treatment plans tailored to the individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

Kaitlyn combines sound clinical judgment with a warm, approachable manner. She is committed to listening carefully, explaining treatment options clearly, and ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their care. Kaitlyn and her family relocated to the Early–Brownwood area specifically for her role with BioEnve, reflecting her commitment to the practice and the community she now serves. Her depth of healthcare experience and dedication to clinical excellence make her a valuable part of BioEnve’s established medical team.

Stacy Hammond, DNP, APRN, FNP-C

Stacy Hammond, FNP

Stacy Hammond is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with an extensive clinical background in internal medicine and cardiovascular health. She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner training and earned her master’s degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center, graduating with honors in 1997. She later earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Baylor University. Stacy has also served as a clinical site coordinator for multiple international research studies.

In addition to her comprehensive medical background, Stacy has completed advanced training and certification in medical aesthetics, laser therapies, and PRP rejuvenation.

Stacy is an expert in sexual health and bioidentical hormone optimization. She serves as a mentor, instructor, lecturer, and manager of clinical field specialists at Biote Medical, where she trains physicians and practitioners in the art of hormone pellet insertion. She is recognized as a Legacy Platinum Biote Provider and has been honored as one of the top 10 Biote providers in the nation.

Throughout more than 27 years of practice, Stacy has developed the broad clinical experience needed to care for patients holistically and guide them toward a therapeutic wellness model. Having personally experienced the life-changing benefits of hormonal balance, she is passionate about caring for the whole person and addressing each patient’s individual needs and concerns in a personal, thoughtful manner.
