Dr. McCain is a Board-Certified obstetrician and gynecologist with over 30 years of experience in this field, with 24 of those years practicing in Abilene. She opened her private practice in 1997 after serving 12 years as a staff obstetrician and gynecologist in the United States Air Force, eventually retiring as a Major from Dyess Airforce Base in Abilene, Texas.

Dr. McCain received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, graduating Magna cum laude. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee School for Health Sciences in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. McCain completed her Internship and Residency in obstetrics and gynecology at David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in California. She was the Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beale Air Force Base in California and subsequently was stationed at Dyess Air Force Base, Abilene, Texas.

Dr. McCain retired from practicing obstetrics in 2015 after delivering babies for 26 years. She is now able to focus on gynecology, specializing in minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries using the DaVinci robotic platform. She was the first Board Certified gynecologist to perform a robotic-assisted hysterectomy in Abilene and currently has performed the most robotic gynecologic procedures in the area.

Dr. McCain is passionate in her ability to offer bioidentical hormone optimization for both women and men, allowing her patients to age healthier and live happier. She is a Platinum Legacy Provider for BioTE Hormone Pellets.

Dr. McCain is a Fellow with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, a member of the Texas Medical Association and a member the Taylor-Jones-Haskell County Medical Society.
